In both groups, serum Helicobacter Pylori IgG was investigated. The results were evaluated using the Fisher’s Exact Test.<br />RESULTS: Helicobacter Pylori IgG was detected to be positive in 48 of 50 patients (96%) who were diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum, whereas Helicobacter Pylori IgG was detected to be seropositive in 73 of 88 patients in the control group (82.9%). The intergroup difference was found to be statistically significant.<br />CONCLUSIONS: Helicobacter Pylori infection plays a role in the etiology of hyperemesis gravidarum.</p> ER -
